My New Doo

I love visiting the hair salon. I used to change my hair colour every couple months just for fun.  For awhile now I have stuck to the solid brunette colour.  I like how it looks natural.  But the hair appointment I had this week I knew I wanted a little change.  My hairdresser suggested a subtle amount of highlights throughout the front.  Needless to say I love it!

Last night I attend a SKFWK party with my friend Jaycee.  It was fun to get dressed up and enjoy a night out!

Pretty in Pink

While in Toronto I was constantly on the go going from one place to another so unfortunately I didn't have tons of time to shoot looks. Luckily, I was able to at least get one in! In Toronto it was SUPER hot and with humidity we were melting.  Such a weather change from the rain we were having back home. In the morning, while it was a little cooler, I was able to pair my light summer dress with a cute jean jacket.  I love my little sneakers as they were what kept my feet comfy with all the walking.

There are SO many amazing grocery stores in T.O.  I know, that probably sounds silly but I've never seen such amazing places to buy groceries.  I bet I could've spent hours in some of the grocery stores just looking at all the different food they have.  It was great to see so many healthy options along with many easy dinners for all those busy days we all have.

Toronto by Night

Overall it was a BLAST of an adventure! It was great to tour through the big city with family and friends.  Tyler and I are SO excited now that we've got a place to start setting up and soon make the big move.

A Glimpse

Hello loves! I hope you all had a splendid weekend.  I had the BEST time in Toronto!  I had so much fun exploring the city I will soon be moving to.  We were constantly on the go from place to place. Toronto Adventure Begins!

This morning I'm off to Toronto!  I have TONS to accomplish while I'm there and could not be more excited!  I look forward to finding a new home, scouting out Ryerson University{preparing for the semester ahead}, SHOPPING, enjoying some great restaurants, celebrating a VERY special birthday and visiting with friends & family!  I am anxious to update you on the whole adventure next week.

Like a Feather

The feather trend caught my eye.  It all started when I first laid eyes on the STUNNING Elizabeth and James blazer (photo on bottom right). The first time I saw it I gashed in delight.  It truly is a piece that takes my breath away. It's delicate detailing is beautiful.  Many designers are using the feather trend in a similar way, as delicate accents, which I LOVE!  What do you think of the feather trend?  Would you wear this trend?

Blown Away

How was your weekend?  Did you enjoy time with your family on Father's Day?  I had a great weekend spending time with the ones I love! --  During these photos I was in a bit of a windstorm. I'm glad we were able to catch some great shots despite the wind. I'm totally into the colours of this outfit - rose gold, mint green and blue.  These are probably my favorite colours this season. What are your favorite colours for Spring/Summer? First things first, I love {have a slight addiction to} shoes!  I don't know why but shoe shopping gets me every time.  There is just something about the way that no matter how I'm feeling, shoes always look/make me feel amazing.  The heeled sandal trend is one shoe trend I couldn't pass by mentioning.  These shoes go with anything, from jeans to a cocktail dress. Do you love the heeled sandal trend?

Old & New

Like most fashionistas, I do LOVE to shop.  If I could shop for a living I would be an expert.  Unfortunately, with being a {soon to be} student {again} I can't be shopping til I drop all the time. So that's when I've got to go through my closet and find something to wear.  Here I've mixed a bit of old with a little bit of new. I'm wearing a beautiful white leather jacket I purchased in Italy at the young age of 13, BCBG bag, top from Winners, Le Chateau capris and shoes.

Can't Get Enough

I have always loved interior decorating.  Now that I will soon have a new home in TO it's time to put interior decorating skills to the test.  I've recently been scouting out furniture/accessories for the new place {even though I have yet to find a place}.  I've fallen in love with everything Urban Barn.  Most likely the new place will end up looking like something that should be in the pages of the Urban Barn catalog.  Gotta love it! Here are some pieces I just can't get enough of.

Easy Tuesday

Today is such a beautiful day! After such a rainy weekend it's so nice to see the sun again.  I was happy to have spent my lunch on the deck at my boyfriends enjoying the view and sunshine.  Today I've kept my outfit simple with a flowy skirt and knotted baggy tee.  Here are a few pics we snapped with the iPhone.

Breaking Barriers

In spring/summer  I usually opt for brights and pastels but this outfit doesn't fit in either of those colour palettes.  But, I've got to break that barrier every once and awhile.  This BCBG top is among one of my favorite new pieces.  I've found myself wearing it with multiple different bottoms.  I'm not usually one for dark green but it really does go with everything.  I tried avoiding the cold of the rain with some black tights.  Hopefully it can start to heat up again and I can retire the tights soon.

Currently Craving

As we kick off the month of June the weather starts to heat up, the flowers start blooming and people are starting to enjoy the outdoors again. I love going for walks and enjoy patios at this time of year. I'm hoping to enjoy a bit of the outdoors this weekend, that is if we don't get the predicted rain {fingers crossed}.  With a new month also brings new favorites.  I'm excited to show you what I am currently craving!
