A City Girls Best Friend...

…is the current sneaker trend.  Ever since I sold off my vehicle and moved to the big city, my main means of transportation are my own two feet.  And let me tell you, I have tried every "oh these are super cute and really comfy" shoes out there.  And yes, they are comfy for the first 10 minutes of walking but when you are constantly on your feet, they start to hurt.  So when the sneaker trend became a thing, I was right on it.  I can walk in these for hours and never a problem.  For my damaged feet, these are like walking on clouds.  If you haven't tried the sneaker trend, do, your feet will be thankful!

Back to it!

Hey lovelies!!  I’m so very excited to be back to the blog today!  And I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me some time to be with my family.  This week I will be introducing an exciting new element to the blog, so stay tuned for that exciting post.  But today is all about chic layers.  As soon as it gets cooler, I seem to always opt for a sweater.  What cuter way then with a fun skirt, my fav tights, a collared shirt and my fav new bling, this necklace I found at Target.  By adding a few dressier pieces instead of the usual jeans, you can really dress up a sweater!  How are you wearing sweaters this season?

My Sweet Angel

After a difficult battle with injuries endured as a result of a tragic cycling accident two and a half years ago, my Dad passed away Friday with our family by his side.  I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful man to call my father.  He supported me with everything I did.  And everything he did on a daily basis was an inspiration to me.  I will cherish every special memory we had together.  My family and I will miss him so dearly but, I'm so glad he is free from his suffering.  Fly free my sweet angel.  I love you, dad.

The Best Medicine

…is laughing! After a bit of a tough week, there is nothing like having a fabulous friend/photographer to cheer you up with some laughs.  Thank you Qunshuo!  I hope your friends can bring you some laughs today.

Dreamy Gems

Hey lovelies!!  So even though it's Fall, I've been wearing a lot of light colours lately.  Even though pastels are big for Fall this year, somehow it just seems so funny to me that I'm totally into this colour palette at this time of year. Another thing I'm totally into is this statement necklace I recently picked up at Aldo; I love the all its glitz.

Speaking of Fall, it's already getting so chilly, its got me thinking of winter.  I'm already buying my winter gear.  I'm super excited about my new UGG winter boots that are waterproof, warm and cute--can't wait to show you!  They were actually an early birthday gift from my mom, so thank you mom, can't wait to have cozy feet when the snow hits!  What type of purchases will you be making this year to prepare yourself for the winter season?
