A Change Would Do You Good

Hey Everyone!  Hope you've all been having a good week.  I've been extremely busy but I guess that's expected with my 6 uni classes now in full swing!  This week, in all my busy school thoughts, I somehow started contemplating a hair change.  I love to change my hair, if I could I would have a new hair colour or style every month.  Is it just me or do you always feel so good with a new doo?  So last night I came up with some "hairspiration"!  Let me know what you think!! & have a great weekend! Excited to show you next week what I'm up to over the weekend!

Hello, Fall!

The Fall season is officially here but, I still don't want to believe it.  Even though I've been a little chilly due to the fact I left all my coats at home and I will not get them for a couple weeks, it feels like it was just yesterday it was scorching hot out.  I'm sad to see the summer come to an end but I'm eager to see what the Fall has in store!

This past weekend I spent mostly doing homework...a paper, art boards, studying textiles, sewing, sketching and so forth.  But, I became completely distracted when I laid my hands on the new iPhone 5! I don't care what critics are saying about this phone, I love it! The features are amazing, it's fast, thin and stylish looking!  Now take that! Haha

Lana Del Rey for H&M

Recently, the windows of H&M have been covered in these glamorous photos by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and needless to say H&M could not have chosen a more beautiful songstress for their Fall Campaign.  Lana rocks these fall trends like non other.  Might I add, what is there not to love about this lady...from her beautiful voice to sophisticated style to luxurious mani to long flowing locks.  OK enough of me gushing my love for Lana, check out these photos! Hey lovelies! I hope you had a great weekend, I sure did! You may have wondered where I've been the past few days as I've been MIA from the blog and I have a perfectly logical answer...I've been shopping.  OK, well not only shopping, but also attending the Madonna concert, spending time with my mom (as she was here for the weekend) and of course doing school work.  It was one amazing weekend to remember! Here are a few new pieces which have made their way into my closet over the past weekend.  Have a great Monday!

Inspire Me: Attention to Detail

I recently fell upon Tommy Ton's photographs from the street style at NYFW SS 2013.  I am in love!!! I am particularly drawn to his attention to detail in these photographs.  I am also completely inspired by the combination of colours, patterns and textures these fashionista's are wearing.  I'm usually one for mixing colours but not so much patterns and textures...though maybe I should start in the near future. Tunes Tuesday

I'm loving this tune right now! It's called Demons by Imagine Dragons. Ty (my boyfriend, if you've forgotten) introduced me to it.  He's always one for finding out what the newest tunes are.  I'd also like to mention if you haven't seen the fine print at the bottom of the blog, Ty is my photographer...unless it's myself or otherwise credited.  How great is he!  Anyways, I'm curious to know what's on repeat on your ipod right now?  Have a great Tuesday!

Transition Into Fall

OK, is it just me or is summer transitioning into fall complicated? It's as though you don't want to give up on the cute, light dresses of summer but you aren't completely ready to dive into darks and jackets.  This dress feels like a good start to the transition, it's light enough for the still hot temps but the colours suggest fall.  Best of both worlds! On another note, don't mind my slightly awkward posing, I'm trying to hide my leg that's black and blue due to a furniture set up mishap...you don't want to see it, trust me.

Fashion's Night Out TORONTO

Hey all! Happy Friday! I'm excited to show you a glimpse of Toronto's Fashion's Night Out!  After one of my profs mentioned it to the class, I decided to check out the locations of the fabulous event.  I looked it up just in the nic of time as TO was hosting it's FIRST Fashion's Night Out that night (last night)! So in a last minute-frantic panic I got myself together and hit up the event.  I had a such a blast and I can't wait to attend next years event!  Were you at your cities FNO?
