Don't Quit Your Daydream

When life gets crazy, it can be difficult to take the time to enjoy the things you're passionate about.  A beautiful shoot in a blooming Toronto park reminded me to not quit my daydream--always make the time for the little things in life that make me happy.  I hope this weekend you take the time to do something that makes your wild heart happy.

Pretty in Pink

Pink is my absolute favourite colour! So there's no wonder pink is the dominant colour in my shoe collection.  I find a lot of people are scared away from the vibrant colour so, I decided to demonstrate an easy way to accessorize with pink shoes without the colour being overpowering.  Here are a few looks which can be transformed from day to night.

Shades of Lace

When you think Spring layers, you usually think light pastels but somedays there is nothing better then black.  I've been dying to wear this black slip I recently thrifted.  It actually works perfectly under this skirt I picked up awhile back for a whole 10 bucks. I'm feeling very festival-ish in this look, maybe it's a sign of me secretly being extremely jealous of everyone who attended Coachella, this year looked to be perfection, as always.  Have a great rest of your Monday.

Vintage Find

Hey Lovelies!  I recently stumbled upon the most perfect vintage find, this beautiful coat.  With a fun 60's shape and a colour perfect for Spring, which is officially here, it was too hard to pass up.

Colour Burst

Happy Wednesday Lovelies!  I'm currently springing into Spring with a big colour burst!  Lots of colour is one of my favourite things about the Spring season.  I couldn't resist pairing my colourful ensemble with my new open toed booties.  With weather not being so appropriate for them, I paired them with some back dress socks and it totally works!  How are you springing into the new season?
My mom and I had so much fun adventuring through Toronto this past weekend.  We shopped, had some tasty dinners at local restaurants and went to the Lorde concert (which was AMAZING)!  I was sad to see her leave but we definitely made some great new memories.

Pretty Pastels

It's safe to say after a little taste of Spring like weather in Toronto this weekend, warm temperatures and pretty pastel attire is all I can think about.  Are you as anxious as I am for the coming season and its pretty fashions?

Splish-Splash

With the combo of flamingos and a watery-like skirt, I feel like I should be heading to the beach! Maybe not in these shoes though. I'm so into the combo of skirts and t's right now.  It's so simple but can be so much fun when you combine different prints and accessories.  Also, I'm totally digging this skirt I stumbled upon at the first sample sale I'd ever been to, Pink Tartan's, last week. Being at a sample sale is like digging for treasure.  Such great deals and I had such fun!

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday,

A Hidden Gem

Ever totally forget you have something because it's hidden way in the back of your closet?  This just happened to me.  I recently stumbled upon this dress I purchased years back.  I'm not sure why it's been hidden away because it's truly a classic.  With SKFWK shows nearly here, will you be sticking to classics or will you be a little more daring?

Don't forget to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Bloglovin' & Twitter!

Winter Whites Bring Spring Brights

So just from the title of this post you're probably thinking "what the heck!?" While visiting back home in Saskatchewan, it snowed, making Spring feel more like Winter.  Not a word of a lie, April 30th there was a snow storm in SK.  This weather change definitely called for some Spring brights to brighten things up a little.  I think it's safe to say that Canada has dramatically different temperatures and some crazy seasons.  But you know what, I love it!  No one likes the same old all the time, right? On another note, so happy to be at home with my pup Tuffy.  He insisted in being in the photos with persistent barking and moving into the shots.  What a brat!

Yesterday my mom & I took off to Vancouver for a fun filled weekend.  While in Vancouver my mom will be running a marathon...I'm talking 42.2 km. YOU GO MOM!!!

Here's a look at what I was wearing while back in good ol' Sask, bringing Spring brights back after the cold wintery whites.

Hope you have a super weekend,

Shady

On Saturday Ty & I enjoyed a day adventuring through Toronto.  With such beautiful weather there was no question we would spend our day outdoors.  With warm temperatures, budding trees and sunshine I couldn't help smile realizing that Spring was actually here.  My outfit of the day ended up looking super boho...channeling my inner Nicole Richie?! Maybe!  While exploring the city Ty and I ended up stopping in this amazing hat store on Queen St., Goorin Bros, where I picked up this floppy hat.  In my opinion, the perfect floppy hat is a Spring/Summer must have.  Not only does it protect you from the suns rays, it's also super stylish.  Will you be picking up a hat to add to your wardrobe this season?

Have a great Monday,
