City Girl on the Go

A couple of weekends ago I had the pleasure of having one of my good friends, Tia (and her hubby) visit Ty and I in the city.  Tia joined me on my Friday routine of classes and doing my errands around the city.  While running around, Tia insisted we do impromptu photos in the rain.  It was fun to shoot photos totally at random, they truly display my life as a city girl on the go.

Along with my neutral ensemble I added some pops of colour to cheer up the gloomy day.  I'm especially obsessed with my pink Ban.do heart pin.  Every time I wear it I get about a zillion compliments.

Hey lovelies!  So today is definitely a casual Friday.  Nothing beats simple jeans and t-shirt.  I love this t-shirt I recently picked up from Pink.  It just screams some type of varsity team to me.

I'm so excited to be heading home today for a nice little holiday! I will be spending the weekend with all of my friends and family.  Also, extremely excited for a yummy turkey dinner!  For all you Canadians, how will you be spending Thanksgiving?  Hope you have an amazing weekend!

Sunday Best

Hey lovelies!  I hope you all had a beautiful weekend.  I was happy to have a relaxing weekend with Ty.  We decided to do some exploring of the city including Sugar Beach, Taste of Danforth & The Antique Market.  It always blows my mind how much one city has to offer.  And to end off this weekend I sported this feminine ensemble.  I'm totally digging the combo of unexpected patterns together, somehow it just works!

Soak up the Sun

I'm so excited for this weekend!  I have girlfriends coming from out of town that I haven't seen in months.  Most of our plans were to enjoy the beautiful Spring weather but unfortunately it doesn't look like it's going to be a warm weekend.  And as the cool weather approaches us here in the city, I am lusting for those warmer days once again.  These photos were taken when I was back in Saskatchewan.  I'm loving this maxi Ty's mom gifted me from her recent travels.  Comfy & cute!

May Long Weekend

May Long Weekend has been a lot of fun.  I've spent most of mine outdoors in parks, friends backyards, on patios or wandering through Toronto.  It's been so nice to sit, relax and enjoy for a little bit.  I wore this fun look to kick off the long weekend.  I especially love this maxi skirt as its striped, has a fun ruffled bottom and is Canadian made, by Shelly Court.  Such a talented lady!

On Saturday Ty & I enjoyed a day adventuring through Toronto.  With such beautiful weather there was no question we would spend our day outdoors.  With warm temperatures, budding trees and sunshine I couldn't help smile realizing that Spring was actually here.  My outfit of the day ended up looking super boho...channeling my inner Nicole Richie?! Maybe!  While exploring the city Ty and I ended up stopping in this amazing hat store on Queen St., Goorin Bros, where I picked up this floppy hat.  In my opinion, the perfect floppy hat is a Spring/Summer must have.  Not only does it protect you from the suns rays, it's also super stylish.  Will you be picking up a hat to add to your wardrobe this season?

Puppy Print

My friend recently asked me what kind of animal I am was constantly drawn to.  I had to think about it but to be honest, I can't think of any one in particular.  I just love animals!  Maybe thats why I was so drawn to this puppy print.  How cute are these little guys?

Speaking of animals, I know I'm probably the last person on the face of the earth to find out this but have you heard about Finding Dory, the sequel to Finding Nemo?  I don't think I'm the only person out there who actually wished they could turn into a fish and sing 'just keep swimming' after seeing that film.  It is to be released in 2015.  Can't wait to hear more about it!
