Jersey Dress

Hey lovelies!  I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!  This past weekend I rocked a trend I definitely didn't think I ever would, the jersey dress.  I was a little sceptical at first because rocking a sweat shirt type dress isn't that easy.  But with the right accessories I think this trend is totally fun.  They key to success with a jersey dress is dressy accessories, load on the bling and put on those jazzy heels.  What do you think of the jersey dress trend?  Will you be rocking it this Fall?

Skort-ing in the City

So this Zara skort is currently on repeat in my wardrobe.  I just love how put together I feel in it, even when paired with a simple t-shirt.  I can't get enough of it!!

Winter Whites Bring Spring Brights

So just from the title of this post you're probably thinking "what the heck!?" While visiting back home in Saskatchewan, it snowed, making Spring feel more like Winter.  Not a word of a lie, April 30th there was a snow storm in SK.  This weather change definitely called for some Spring brights to brighten things up a little.  I think it's safe to say that Canada has dramatically different temperatures and some crazy seasons.  But you know what, I love it!  No one likes the same old all the time, right? On another note, so happy to be at home with my pup Tuffy.  He insisted in being in the photos with persistent barking and moving into the shots.  What a brat!

Yesterday my mom & I took off to Vancouver for a fun filled weekend.  While in Vancouver my mom will be running a marathon...I'm talking 42.2 km. YOU GO MOM!!!

Here's a look at what I was wearing while back in good ol' Sask, bringing Spring brights back after the cold wintery whites.

Hope you have a super weekend,

Transition

When I saw a fellow blogger wearing this top, I went on a mad hunt through the various Zara's in TO to find it in my size.  I know, I could've just bought it online but I wanted it for an event on the day I had discovered it.  I love that it is a perfect transition piece from Winter to Spring combining neutrals and brights.  It's pretty much been my uniform lately.

On another note, I can't believe all the devastation that has gone on in Boston this week.  Boston is in my prayers.

Have a fabulous weekend,
Don't forget you can find me on Twitter, Bloglovin & Instagram!

Puppy Print

My friend recently asked me what kind of animal I am was constantly drawn to.  I had to think about it but to be honest, I can't think of any one in particular.  I just love animals!  Maybe thats why I was so drawn to this puppy print.  How cute are these little guys?

Speaking of animals, I know I'm probably the last person on the face of the earth to find out this but have you heard about Finding Dory, the sequel to Finding Nemo?  I don't think I'm the only person out there who actually wished they could turn into a fish and sing 'just keep swimming' after seeing that film.  It is to be released in 2015.  Can't wait to hear more about it!

Have a happy weekend,
