Don't Quit Your Daydream

When life gets crazy, it can be difficult to take the time to enjoy the things you're passionate about.  A beautiful shoot in a blooming Toronto park reminded me to not quit my daydream--always make the time for the little things in life that make me happy.  I hope this weekend you take the time to do something that makes your wild heart happy.

Shades of Lace

When you think Spring layers, you usually think light pastels but somedays there is nothing better then black.  I've been dying to wear this black slip I recently thrifted.  It actually works perfectly under this skirt I picked up awhile back for a whole 10 bucks. I'm feeling very festival-ish in this look, maybe it's a sign of me secretly being extremely jealous of everyone who attended Coachella, this year looked to be perfection, as always.  Have a great rest of your Monday.

A Little Lace, A Little Sunshine

Happy Friday Loves!  One thing I love about being on the prairies is the constant sunshine.  I'm such a sunshine girl, it just makes me so happy!  Tia and I shot these photos in the evening, it was still so nice and sunny, I loved it!  And how cute is this lace dress?  Perfect for a casual day or dress it up with heels for a night out.  And of course, you all know just how much I love lace, so in my opinion this dress can do no wrong.
I'm currently in NYC for the weekend and am already having so much fun!  I'm excited to tell you all about my adventures next week.  Happy weekend!

A Little Lace and a Update

Hey lovelies! Sorry for not blogging sooner but due to moving, packing for a vaca/besties wedding in Cali and not having internet (I'm currently coming to you via Starbucks), it has been quite difficult.  Talk about craziness & so much excitement!

There is no doubt that I am a lover of lace & sparkle.  There is something about the two textures that makes me feel so lady like.  I feel like this outfit would’ve been so cute to wear for brunch or to a tea but I just wore it for a day in the city.  Sometimes it's just nice to dress up with no where to go.

As Ty and I are off to Cali tomorrow, I won't be back to the blog until Monday, August 5th!  But stay tuned for all the fun details from our adventures.

Lace & Leopard

In attempt to beat the heat, I've been sporting this sun hat over and over again.  It's the perfect protection from the sun while still being so chic.  In combination with this hat I decided to pair it with lace and leopard.  I've always been a huge fan of combining textures and prints, I feel that it gives an outfit such definition.  What are you currently wearing to beat the heat?

Thank you Qunshuo Ma for the photography.

Country Festival Style

As many of you may know, via my social media, I recently spent the past few days in Nashville  attending CMAfest.  What fun I had!  For a country music fan, it was heaven.  As soon as you walked out of your hotel you were right in all the action that goes from early morning to late night.  Every restaurant, street corner and stage had live music. In the evening everyone headed to the large outdoor venue where the big name country stars played their tunes.  Until now, I had never been to Nashville or such a big festival as this.  Hopefully attending this event can become a yearly tradition!

Along with the country music came a country fashion sense.  I attempted to channel my inner country girl with bigger hair, lots of sparkle and of course denim and lace. Here's my take on country festival style.
