Summer Layers

Hi lovelies! So it's that time of summer where you find yourself trying to fill your days with as many last minute summer festivities as possible.  What better way to do that then in a cozy, versatile ensemble.  Lately, I've been finding myself in lots of layers like this.  August is just one of those months where your not too sure if its going to be hot or cool, so it's always nice to be prepared. Do you have any last minute summer plans?

Lace & Leopard

In attempt to beat the heat, I've been sporting this sun hat over and over again.  It's the perfect protection from the sun while still being so chic.  In combination with this hat I decided to pair it with lace and leopard.  I've always been a huge fan of combining textures and prints, I feel that it gives an outfit such definition.  What are you currently wearing to beat the heat?

Sheer Escape

There is no doubt that sheer is a huge trend right now.  I decided to take on this trend by combining a delicate top with a bold print.  I love this combo.  In fact, oddly enough when I was out shopping while wearing this, I stumbled upon the very same print and sheer combo in skirt and top form at Zara.  What a coincidence!
