Colour Burst

Happy Wednesday Lovelies!  I'm currently springing into Spring with a big colour burst!  Lots of colour is one of my favourite things about the Spring season.  I couldn't resist pairing my colourful ensemble with my new open toed booties.  With weather not being so appropriate for them, I paired them with some back dress socks and it totally works!  How are you springing into the new season?

My mom and I had so much fun adventuring through Toronto this past weekend.  We shopped, had some tasty dinners at local restaurants and went to the Lorde concert (which was AMAZING)!  I was sad to see her leave but we definitely made some great new memories.

Uniform

Lately, I've been repeating a few pieces in my wardrobe, conforming to some kind of "uniform".  These pieces consisting of jeans, a pink cardigan and these layered jewels.  Obviously, with my favourite colour being pink, throwing on this pop of colour automatically puts me in a good mood. And as for the jewels, I love how the contrasting materials work together to give off a totally pretty feminine vibe.
I'm SUPER excited to have my mom come visit this week!  She hasn't come out to visit me in quite some time so we have a lot of Toronto exploring/shopping to do!

Pretty Pastels

It's safe to say after a little taste of Spring like weather in Toronto this weekend, warm temperatures and pretty pastel attire is all I can think about.  Are you as anxious as I am for the coming season and its pretty fashions?

Statement Earrings

Hey lovelies!  I'm super excited to be teaming up with the beautiful Jacqueline of Stylin in St. Louis today to bring you our take on a current trend, statement earrings.  For me, my go to for statement piece is typically a statement necklace, but I'm loving this change of pace with the statement earring.  It really glams up any outfit!  What's your opinion on this current trend?

Life Lately

Life lately has been pretty hectic, but definitely in a good way!  Here are a few snaps of what I've been up to lately. 

[The above photo was my first attempt at photography in a studio setting.  I am so used to shooting using natural light, experimenting with lights and reflectors was definitely something new for me.  I am excited to learn more in photography in the coming future.]

Mexico Roundup

An impromptu girls trip to Mexico to start off 2014 was much needed and enjoyed!  Lots of laughs and relaxing was the perfect way to start off the year.  My wardrobe consisted mostly of swimsuits and beach coverups, oh, and my new favourite mini floral crown.  As much as I'd love to keep wearing these beachy pieces, I'm back to reality in Toronto now anxiously anticipating Spring.  Here's a tiny roundup of my beachy getaway.

Unpredictable

Unpredictable is definitely the weather back home in Saskatchewan, and it sounds like many places throughout North America right now.  But, I've mostly been snuggled up at my parents house keeping warm and enjoying time with family, so that is quite alright with me.  While it's chilly, I'm bundled up in cozy layers, including this darling sweater from Bootlegger.  I love the neutral polka dot pattern, perfect for my favourite thing, print mixing. Happy Holidays!!

Little Red Dress

Hey Lovelies!! There is something about the holidays that makes me want to constantly wear red.  It's such a fun colour for this time of year.  And, I especially love it with my blonde hair.  I decided to dress this dress down with my favourite boot/thigh high combo, so comfy & cute!  Of course, anything ruffly I totally adore, and the thigh-high ruffle socks are no different.  What colour are you craving this holiday season??
