Back to School

Hey Lovelies!  Well it’s that time of year again—back to school.  I have had a few amazing months spending time in my home province of Saskatchewan (as well as a few other spontaneous adventures across the country).  I made some AMAZING new friends, enjoyed the company of old friends, found a new love for fitness, worked for an amazing company, adventured, relaxed & refreshed.  Although the end of this summer is bittersweet, I am ready for a fresh start, new apartment (and roommate who is truly the most generous person on the planet) and new semester.  This year is my 3^rd year of Ryerson Universities Fashion Communication program.  I can’t wait to see what crazy material this year holds!

This outfit is what I would consider as a perfect back to school look! I paired an unexpected combo together—a dress & some funky denim from Free People.  (Ironically I actually wore this dress on my first day back to school last year.)  I love the neutral palette with a bright lip.  What does your perfect back to school look consist of?

The past couple weeks have definitely been crazy for me as I've decided pack up, leave Toronto and  to spend a few quality months at home on the prairies.  Although I will (temporarily) miss the big city life, I decided to follow my intuition.  So until September, this Toronto city girl will be blogging to you via another city, a much smaller city, Regina, Saskatchewan.  Overall, I'm excited for my adventurous summer escape.
This sheer/lace dress has to be one of my favourite summer pieces! I've loved wearing it so many different ways.  This is just one of the fun ways I've paired this versatile piece.

On The Prairies

Hey lovelies!  I hope all you Canadian's had a fabulous long weekend & everyone else, a great start to the week.  I've had such a wonderful time visiting home.  While I've been home I was able to work with my good friend and fellow blogger, Tia, to do these photos.  It was a lot of fun! I love this dress!  Not only is it a cool Fall floral print, it's actually a cord material, perfect to be paired with boots and tights for the colder days coming up.  And how cute is this sweater?  It's only $40! Totally loving this cute & cozy attire!

Office Inspiration

So Ty and I are finally getting to the last few details in our new place.  Everything is mostly done besides the office.  It's currently a blank slate, now to decorate.  I'm definitely thinking pastels, punches of gold and warm accents.  Here are a few photos of what's currently inspiring me for the office decor.  What do you think?  I'd love to get your opinions!
