Tweed for Fall

Tweed has always been a favourite textured textile of mine, it just seems so luxurious.  Maybe it's all that tweed I see on Chanel's runway every year.  I purchased this tweed blazer from Target back in the Spring and I haven't worn it a whole lot just yet.  I'm not exactly sure why as it's combines so many of my favourite colours.  What is your opinion on tweed?

The Classics

I had been eyeing up this sweater for ages, I mean how cute is it?!  Once I finally got my hands on it I wasn't sure whether to pair it with some trendy pants or a classic skirt.  But the classics won me over once again.  Really, you can't go wrong with them.  I'm excited to wear this sweater more casually as well, but for now I'm having fun dressing it up.  What have you got your eye on lately and how do you plan to style it?
Wearing: Sweater [Kersh] from Coda, Pumps [Target] similar, Skirt old [Topshop] also love this one.

An Old Favourite

Sometimes there are those pieces in your closet that you will always love, this dress is one of mine.  I love that it's oversized shape goes so well with many different tops from button ups to simple shirts like the one I'm wearing here.  It's just so versatile and perfect for those summer months.
I'm excited to spend my weekend outdoors, possibly hitting the beach or doing some hiking.  I'm hoping to absorb all the last of the nice summer days.  What are you up to this weekend?
Wearing: All old except sunnies from Zara.

I'm Like a Bird

...Or I just love the feather detailing on the sleeves of this tee.  How great of a find was this from Pink Tartan's sample sale?  As you know I'm usually one to opt for colour but sometimes it's nice to go for the classic black & white combo.  I love how polished they look together.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  I spent most of mine Spring cleaning, watching the Junos and doing some stuff for the blog.  This is my last week in TO for a couple weeks so I'm sure it'll be quite hectic. I'm excited to be heading back home and to Vancouver for two whole weeks of jammed packed fun!  But more on that later.

There's something about wearing head to toe black with a string of classic pearls that screams Breakfast at Tiffany's.  This weekend I definitely felt I was channeling my inner "Holly Golightly".  When in doubt I always turn to an all black ensemble, it's truly a no fail.  And the fact that wearing all black is slenderizing doesn't hurt either.  What's your go to colour of choice?

Hope you have a wonderful start to the week,
