Snow Day

There is something about fresh snow that makes the city look so magical.  I didn't spend much time in the snow this weekend as Ty and I had a productive weekend working on our place, as you may have seen on Instagram.  We've been living in this place for a few months now, but with our hectic schedules, it took us a while to get to some of our bigger projects.  It's so nice to see our place finally coming together.

On boxing day my mom and I tackled the mall, as we always do, it's sort of our tradition.  We found some GREAT deals including this bow blouse I had been eyeing up previous to boxing day.  I love layering it in these cooler months.

Bundle Up!

Toronto! Why are you SO cold right now?  It's seriously SO FREEZING cold here.   It's been a challenge for me to find a good time to shoot pictures outdoors this week due to our cold spell.  So, this equals me in many warm layers, including this fab faux fur vest I got for Christmas, and obviously a warm parka, which is not pictured.  When it's cold like this, you can't help but dream of Spring temps and Spring colours, which led me to wearing this pop of hot pink--my favourite!

Bubble Gum

Gloomy winter is the perfect time for a pop of colour in your wardrobe or beauty routine!  Nothings says happy to me like a pop of bubble gum PINK!  Though, I will admit I was a little hesitant at first on such a bold lip colour, it sure put a smile on my face on this wintery day.  How are you keeping the wintery blues away?
