Sare in the Studio: Party Gem

With NYE only a day away, it is time to get that sparkly party dress & pretty heels ready for a night out. For me, NYE is all about sparkle, there is no other way to do it! This said, it was only appropriate I post pics of this glittered out, sparkly party gem I fell in love with while shooting the Sare in the Studio series. When I slipped into this piece, I couldn't stop dancing! This dress can seriously make any girl feel as stylish as Lady Gaga and as classy as Jackie O! I hope your New Years is extra sparkly! Sare in the Studio: That Red Dress

Stunning, stunning, stunning is how I feel about this FAB red dress from NWL. It's simply that dress you slip into and immediately it makes you feel wonderful. Another fun look done in the studio with Troy Fleece. This time, Tia Getzlaf came in front of the camera, also wearing NWL. We had a lot of fun, despite what our serious faces may say.

Unpredictable

Unpredictable is definitely the weather back home in Saskatchewan, and it sounds like many places throughout North America right now. But, I've mostly been snuggled up at my parents house keeping warm and enjoying time with family, so that is quite alright with me. While it's chilly, I'm bundled up in cozy layers, including this darling sweater from Bootlegger. I love the neutral polka dot pattern, perfect for my favourite thing, print mixing. Ask Sare//Untraditional Christmas

You lovelies have brought to my attention that there are more folks out there excited to experiment with Christmas decor, to step out of the traditional ways. It has also been brought to my attention that this can be difficult as there are so many possibilities, so where to start. Though, most of you already have your Christmas decor set and done, for those of you who are feeling inspired to add a little something extra or already thinking of ways to change up your traditional Christmas decor for next year, this is for you. My best advice to you is choose a theme that means something to you. If you love the beach, why not incorporate some of that into your Christmas theme. If your a girly girl, how about trying a pink Christmas tree? And if you like things clean and simple, why not try a light tree or simple candles. There are so many different ways to create Christmas decor with a personal touch. Here are just a few of my ideas. Happy Decorating & Happy Holidays!

Little Red Dress

Hey Lovelies!! There is something about the holidays that makes me want to constantly wear red. It's such a fun colour for this time of year. And, I especially love it with my blonde hair. I decided to dress this dress down with my favourite boot/thigh high combo, so comfy & cute! Of course, anything ruffly I totally adore, and the thigh-high ruffle socks are no different.
